The last Raw before Wrestlemania 27 is in the books and it was a great episode. I'm even more interested in the biggest show of the year, and that's saying something since I was very interested before.
I'm going to go through the card for the show and make my predictions on who will win.
1. United States Championship - Sheamus (c) vs. Daniel Bryan
I believe this will be a great match if they are given enough time. Since Sheamus is just on the rise again and only recently won the United States Championship recently, I don't see him dropping it yet. Maybe at Backlash, but for now, after an impressive showing from both guys, Sheamus leaves Atlanta with the strap still around his waist.
2. Trish Stratus, John Morrison and Snooki vs. LayCool and Dolph Ziggler.
Trish will show why she was voted Diva of the Decade and Morrison and Ziggler will pull out all the stops....that they can. I doubt this will be more than 7 minutes, and unfortunately you'll see the end coming when Snooki gets the tag and as long as she's not wasted or trying to smush with Morrison or Ziggler, she'll somehow get the pin for her team.
3. The Corre vs. Kane, Big Show, Santino and Kozlov
Kane is a veteran who puts over younger guys. Big Show has one of the worst Mania records ever, and Santino and Kozlov...well...you know. The Corre is on the rise and on a hot streak. They get the win here.
4. Cody Rhodes vs. Rey Mysterio
As far as the under card goes, this match I am looking forward to the most. I think it's got the potential to (almost) steal the show and really elevate Rhode as a major player. I would love to see Rhodes pick up the win here, and I'm going to make a ballsy prediction and say that this will be his shining moment.
5. Randy Orton vs. CM Punk
Here's my dream match that I hate to see. These are my two favorite guys, locking up at the biggest show of the year. The build up has been great and these two will have one of the most talked about matches. I'm making a bold prediction. Someone from FCW will make a debut, possibly Seth Rollins (Tyler Black) and help Punk get the dirty win. I won't be upset if I'm wrong as I said, these are my two favorite guys.
6. Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole w/ Jack Swagger and Special Guest Ref, Stone Cold Steve Austin
Stunner for Swagger, a 5 minute beating for Cole, and Lawler and Austin celebrating with beer. It should not be any different than that. Lawler deserves his first ever Wrestlemania moment.
7. World Heavyweight Championship Match - Edge (c) w/ Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio w/ Brodus Clay
Del Rio is a rising star in WWE and it's no secret that they have big plans for him. Will it start here in Atlanta on Sunday? I think so. Not sure how. Interference from Brodus Clay and Christian is more than likely to happen, but how it plays out, well that's just something we have to wait and see, along with a new World Champion.
8. WWE Championship Match - The Miz (c) w/ Alex Riley vs. John Cena
The Rock will no doubt get involved here as the big talk of Wrestlemania has been John Cena and The Rocks verbal assaults on each other, which have been fantastic, however I feel like The Miz is being shunned out and almost forgotten in the mix. It sucks too because he is the Champion, and he deserves to have a more prominent role in the whole thing. If the reports are true and The Rock will be around for maybe even a Summerslam match or even next years Wrestlemania, I picture The Miz somehow getting the win, and really having a platform to be showcased as a big deal in WWE.
9. The Undertaker vs. Triple H
I don't care how awesome the build up has been, for a man who is 18 and 0 and Mania, I will NOT bet against The Undertaker. I expect a jealous HBK to either give Triple H sweet chin music, by accident or on purpose, and that will be where it goes wrong for Triple H. The No-Holds Barred stipulation should help the match as Undertakers injuries and status aren't a huge secret. A lot of near pinfalls in this one, and even as sure as I am 'Taker will win, I know I will be on the edge of my seat.
So there's my predictions for Wrestlemania 27, this Sunday on PPV at 8pm Eastern. Going to be a great one.
I'd love to hear your thoughts and predictions. Drop me a line on here below the post, email brad.m.legere@gmail.com or twitter @bradfordml

Three favorite Wrestlemania Entrances
Wrestlemania 27 is now less than a week away and for the first time in years, I am excited about the majority of the card.
I am really looking forward to Cody Rhodes and Mysterio, Punk and Orton and Daniel Bryan and Sheamus.
Obviously the title matches and the Streak are givens that I want to see as well.
But another thing, aside from stellar matches, that I and most people look forward to, are the entrances. Over the years there have been some memorable ones.
In no particular order these are three that stood out to me over the years
1. Undertaker - Wrestlemania 9
Yes it was his worst Wrestlemania Match, on one of the worst Wrestlemanias, but this entrance was awesome. No fire, no Druids, no lightning. Just a creepy, dark character with a vulture. Love it.
2. Shawn Michaels - Wrestlemania 12
I was ten years old, sitting at my Uncles place watching Wrestlemania 12, and I remember we all were confused when Jose Lothario came out at first. Then he hit the ring, pointed up, the music hit and the rest is history. Mr. Wrestlemania.
3. Stone Cold Steve Austin - Wrestlemania 13
I was starting to turn as a Steve Austin fan, despite being Canadian. I always was a fan of the bad asses, even as a young boy, and I just saw him as someone who did it his way and didn't give a fuck....because the script told him to be that way...just saying. Either way this was a huge match for him and one of my favorite entrances and matches. BTW did Shamrock wear a ref shirt or just paint stripes on himself?
Now I know there are plenty of other great ones from Triple H, John Cena, The Rock, and many others, however I'd like to hear your favorites. Comment here or follow me on twitter @bradfordml and let me know there.

Colt Cabana
So it's no secret I love professional wrestling.
I've been watching it since 1989.
I love the athleticism, the characters, both over the top and the ones I can relate to.
The story lines are pretty cheesy and bad a lot of the time, and the celebrity cross overs can be horrendous (Jon Heder) but sometimes cool (Bob Barker).
But as much as we're exposed to WWE and to a lesser extent TNA, a lot of people who aren't hardcore fans, overlook or are completely unaware of the Independent promotions and the wrestlers in them. I recommend Ring of Honor especially. Youtube any match from any of their shows.
Anyway, one wrestler whom has stood out to me is Colt Cabana.
He had a short run in the WWE is Scotty Goldman, which he openly mocks. Unfortunately, this talented guy didn't get the run he deserved and is back to himself, and currently the NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Deservedly so I must say.
I've read a lot about him over the years through the Magazines and Websites, and have checked out matches on youtube, and also on the old ROH shows they show on the Fight Network here in Canada.
But also with being a wrestler, this guy is an entertainer. He also does comedy as well. Very fuckin' funny dud.
In addition to the wrestling and comedy, he also does a weekly podcast called The Art Of Wrestling.
He has talks to a different person in the wrestling industry each week and they just basically shoot the shit about all kinds of different things. Some of his guests include CM Punk, Generation Me, The Iron Sheik and Sara Del Rey.
You don't have to be a wrestling fan to enjoy these, you can just enjoy life stories from people. Talking about experiences on the road, what international travel has been like for them, obstacles they've faced. It's really worth checking out.
He has a couple of websites you can check out. www.welovecolt.com and also www.coltmerch.com.
If you check out the podcast he'll mention it himself, but I will as well, the podcast is free and if you want to support him, head over to coltmerch.com, make a purchase or so or if you don't have the money to spend, tell a friend about it. BTW, my shirt is on the way.
If you head over there, you'll see the DVD entitled Wrestling Road Diaries. It's a documentary of life on the road with himself, Sal Rinauro and Bryan Danielson aka Daniel Bryan of WWE Fame.
I plan on getting a copy very soon.
Anyways, I don't like endorsing people a whole lot, and I usually use this blog to show things I think are funny or random, but this guy is just a straight up awesome guy, who is doing what he loves despite not making a killing while doing it.
Follow him on twitter @ColtCabana and while on there you could follow me as well @bradfordml ;)

Winning Recipes and One Tough Snooki
I caved and watched this finally.
I laughed, how could you not? If you ever laughed at the Chuck Norris quotes, you'll laugh at this.
Despite laughing at this, the man looks absolutely horrible and all the winning talk on twitter and facebook needs to stop.
Wrestlemania is coming up on April 3rd. The WWE fans are talking about the Championship matches and The Undertakers Streak being on the line again.
But anyone else who is talking about it, is probably talking about the match that will involve Snooki..yea...that's right.
I gotta say as guest host of Monday Night Raw she did a great job, and I am actually looking forward to seeing her get in the ring.
If you didn't see her scrap from the night she was host, here you go.
Until next time, keep it rockin'

Springfield Live
This is my 50th entry on my blog and I wanted to give you something not only entertaining but very interesting as well.
So what better way to do that, than not say a whole lot.
I've been a Simpsons fan since I was 5, and was always fascinated of knowing the voice actors behind all the characters.
Just before the Simpsons Movie came out a couple of years ago, the actors appeared on Inside The Actors Studio.
Here are all 5 parts (4 and 5 overlap a little but it's still good). If you've been a Simpsons fan at all, you will love not only seeing the actors bring Springfield to life, in the flesh, but also learn their stories of how they got where they are, and found the voices that we are all familiar with.
NOTE* As it says in the videos, the clips have been blurred due to copyright by FOX.

We can be heroes
I'm sure by now you've heard about what has happened in Japan, if not an 8.9 magnitude earthquake hit and caused a tsunami, over four meters high to hit causing damage I have only seen on the news a handful of times.
When I woke up today and first started watching coverage, the death toll was 16, it is now in the thousands.
So many people have lost loved ones, homes, life savings, so much they have worked for is just gone.
I couldn't help but put myself in the situation in my mind, or at least tried to, cause no matter what you could never really know what it's like.
But we can help, and I encourage you to and to help spread the word.

Just think, this is the fifth largest earthquake since the 1900's is what they're saying. Bottom line, you just never know. I pray that we are never in the situation looking for help, but am glad we are able to, so please do.
