Classic literature on tape and a Chat Room

I am in no way taking credit for finding this.

I am a big fan of Drive Jock, Fearless Fred from 102.1 The Edge in Toronto, and I constantly read his blog.

He had posted this in his and I felt it would be a damn crime if I did not further spread this and its' awesomeness.

There are many more that he reads such as Curious George, so check them out.

On a different note, did you know that people still use chat rooms? And openly try to have cyber sex under the name BigJohnson69, horrible. It's people like that that will cause the downfall of civilization and cause Planet of The Apes to become reality.

If you see anyone like this (cause you use a chat room of course), tell them that a baby raccoon dies everytime they ask if there's any single hot chicks that wanna nasty chat.

Viva La Velasquez

After watching three weeks of UFC Primetime, the hype machine was in full force for the UFC Heavyweight Title fight between Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez at UFC 121.

I'm a big Lesnar fan. The man is a huge beast, with insane speed for being 265Lbs, but I couldn't help but feel doubt after seeing the training for his undefeated opponent, Cain Velasquez.

20 pounds lighter than Lesnar, Velasquez has remarkable endurance and stamina which would keep the steam in his engine if the fight were to go five rounds. But a five round fight was not the case, and history has been made as Cain Velasquez beat Brock four minutes into round 1, in an intense showing of timing and striking. Cain made history becoming the first Mexican heavyweight champion.

Here's the fight if you missed it, or at least curious

Junior Dos Santos is next in line for a title shot against Velasquez, which will be a helluva fight.

Brock is set to have his rubber match with Frank Mir.

Cole Harbours' TJ Grant is set to fight Ricardo Almeida at UFC 124 on Saturday, December 11th. Grant won his last fight at UFC 119 by Unanimous decision against Julio Paulino.
The event will be headlined by The Ultimate Fighter 11 coaches, Josh Koscheck and the UFC Welterweight Champion, Georges St. Pierre from Quebec.

As the kids say, it's going to be dope, son.

Why isn't EVERY High School doing this?

It's been some years since I sat in a High School classroom, about seven and a half to be exact.

Throughout those 3.5 years, I was never one of the popular ones, never one of the "dirty ones", never the nerd, never the jock or any of those stereotypes.

I was what you would call a "floater", I would talk to everyone as long as they weren't jerks, but I've seen a lot of people from those groups separate themselves from others for stupid differences. They didn't like the way people dressed, who they hung out with, or even something as stupid as not partying every weekend.

No matter what, there will always be these people who have to distance themselves from others for such ridiculous, stupid reasons, and not take the time to really get to know people.

MTV has this show called if you really knew me. I finally had a chance to watch this show and I won't lie, it got me teary eyed.

It made me think of how high school was for me and other people I knew who had a rough time with others. I wish I could go back in time and start something like this show, but all we can really do now is learn from this show, our mistakes and educate younger people on why differences such as race, hair, beliefs, friends, music don't matter and how we need to be able to say "hello" with a smile to someone who may not be our best friend, but who may need that simple, honest gesture to help make their day better.

Click this link and check out the trailer and spread the word.

Timing is everything

I could go on a rant about timing leading to the perfect opportunity for a better life, job, relationship, etc.

But no, I'm a huge Randy Orton fan, and if there's one thing this guy is good at in the ring, it's timing.

I know it's scripted, but it's like an actor messing up his lines if it doesn't look good.

UFC Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar "messed up a line" and it still makes me cringe

obviously that did nothing to stop his career if you know anything at all of Brock Lesnar

Thanksgiving has come and gone, I'm stuffed. Hope yours was good and now we can look forward to Halloween :D

Until next time, Keep it rockin'

The coldest of hearts can even be warmed

I don't know about you, but I love the show Undercover Boss. If you haven't heard of it, it's a show where usually a CEO of a company goes undercover to work along side the unsung heroes at the bottom of the totem pole of the company they run.

Along the way they learn the struggles both in and out of the job some of these people face everyday and in the end, they make some pretty big changes to the company and for the employees they got to know.

It's definitely an emotional roller coaster of a show that you should definitely check out.

The next time you think a CEO, COO, or evil Mad Scientist can't ever put themselves in your shoes, think again.

8-Bit, Yo!

They could release this game and it would be a best seller amongst the tanned, Ed Hardy lovers, although I think some of them would have problems figuring out the controls.

Got High Score Bro, let's fist pump!

Early education is the key

No lies, I've been a professional wrestling fan since I was 4 years old. My oldest sister got me into it, and since then there's been no looking back. However, the first thing my sister made sure to do was to educate me on how it was scripted and that the people I was watching, who seemed larger than life (still do) were not really fighting and did not hate each other.

This guy though, as well as many others who I know personally, believe in it a bit too much.

But I guess, at least he has something to believe in?

Then there's the stereotypical dumbasses who make me embarrassed to call myself a fan, but proud to see that Ring of Honor wrestler, Austin Aries, can take care of himself even when he's not scripted to do so.

Have a laugh with this one.

hahahaha, that is visual gold.
